Westinghouse 7247300 Alloy Two-Light Reversible Three-Blade Indoor Ceiling Fan, 42-Inch, Brushed Nickel Finish with Opal Frosted Glass

Surprisingly easy install
This is the first ceiling fan I've been able to install by myself.

Rather than screwing the motor assembly to the bracket after the electrics are assembled (which is what I'm used to and really requires a second person), Westinghouse has designed the mounting bracket to accept the motor assembly and downbar via a clever little ball-and-socket type joint. This holds the fan together, freeing your hands up for the electrics, and makes just a huge difference.

The instructions suggest putting the blades on before mounting, but I'll confess I didn't. Very little wobble on initial install, though.

One minor problem: the mounting bracket was substantially larger than my electrical box, so the mounting screws provided wouldn't fit, and I had to use others, which are screwed in at an angle. Not ideal, but not a huge problem, either.

Looks, &c. are what I wanted. The blades are MDF, which is to be expected at this price. The fan's a little...

Tempest winds on a teapot budget
this things kicks out the CFM's with almost no noise. not only that, it is by far the easiest assembly and install experience i have ever experienced with a ceiling fan. would recomend.

Great Quality @ a Grett Price
Very surprised at the quality, appearance and operation of these attractive litle fans! Only wish I needed more of 'em! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
