Wet Grinder - 1.25 Liter 110 Volts

about the Ultra wet grinder purchased
I hate the dealers that sold me the Ultra Wet Grinder from Amazon,
I bought the grinder 2 months ago and I have a problem with the grinder now that the drum does not run, though I have 1 year WARRANTY on this, the dealers that sold me is not responding and I hate their customer service,
it is a waste of my money buying the grinder from them.
I donot recommend this product to anybody.

Awesome
I love this product. I bought this in NJ. It grinds very quickly & I am also able to make chappathi/roti flour so easy within a min with correct measurements.... Made my job easier....

Nice grinder
Sturdy, well engineered, and provides true stone grinding. We will be depending on this lovely machine for many years to come.

100% Authentic Large Silver 4pc. Sharpstone® Grinder + Cali Crusher® Pollen Press

nice!
i'm cool with paying around $40 for a grinder. i've lost so many grinders over the years and they weren't even nice ones so i didn't want to go all out for the $80 grinder.

i put a bud in, shredded bud comes out. nice. that's what i expected.

i would have given 6 stars but the device didn't blow me so i'm knocking it down to 5 stars.

exactly what it says
This product is just as described and works perfect for your natural herbs. If you need a new grinder, get this.

Awesome product!!
It's the 2nd one I've owned and only because I lost the first! Extremely durable yet light weight! another example of the great quality we have come to expect out of sharpstone. A must have.

Open Country - 350 Watt Food Grinder w/Lg Hopper

plastic gears break easily
This would be a good product, except the gears that turn the grinder are cheap plastic and snap/break very easily. It included one spare set of gears, but I broke both of them within a short period of time, even though I trimmed the meat as well as I could and cut it in small pieces. The gears should have been metal...it's crazy to use plastic for something like that! So far, no luck finding spare one's for purchase.

not build to last
This unit was purchased at a "black Friday" sale and sat until out of warranty. The third use of it and one of the nylon gears in the drive unit broke. Yes, the gears are made of nylon.

A call to the customer service number was no help. I was informed they do not sell replacement parts, nor did they have any idea how to find any. A suggestion was made to contact a company in Utah. The Open County/Nesco website was no help. Two contact forms have been sent and I have yet to receive a reply of any kind.

This grinder is built for very, very light usage. It will not last and you will have wasted your money. If it says Open Country or Nesco, spend your money on something else.

Open Country 350 Watt Food Grinder
I got this for Christmas and it worked pretty good...until...
I thought I could help "clean" it out by running some crushed ice through it. Apparently one of the ice pieces was too much for it and it immediately stripped out a gear or something inside.

Thankfully the store we brought it from had a good return (exchange) policy and I swapped it for a new one.

Be careful not to let a stray piece of bone or something else hard (frozen meat?) go through...it could be the end of it.
Some different engineering on the inside or a overload shut off switch would be an improvement.

Does good for lighter jobs though and the price is reasonable.

SMART CRUSHER® All Metal Pollen Press

Just not snug enough . . .
So I have purchased 3 of these "pollen presses" so far, and the key is that the 2 sliders fit extremely snug so that it forms a perfect tablet. Sadly this one is not that. Great price, but you get what you pay for. Sharp Stone makes a pretty good press, and the plastic sliders vs. the aluminum ones only matter if your heating it up to better compact your tablet.

If your a perfectionist like me, pony up for the extra $15 and get the quality press. If not, then enjoy your decent press.

Great for Personal Use
I've seen mixed reviews on all of the pollen presses out there. I thought I would start by trying this one. This one is all metal and can be heated or placed in an oven. It makes cakes smaller than the size of a dime. If you are only using this for personal use this is the perfect item. It's about the size of a roll of pennies so don't be suprised if it's smaller than you expected, it will still work.
